Abstract: The dualstator hybrid rotor synchronous motor is a new type of structure motor, which can make full use of the internal space of the traditional lowspeed directdrive permanent magnet motor and improve the torque density of the motor without significantly increasing the cost. Aiming at this new type of motor, this paper studied its structural characteristics in detail, analyzed the influence of the combination angle of inner and outer unit motor on its output torque, derived its torque calculation formula, and took the volume and temperature rise as constraints, designed the internal reluctance motor with different pole numbers. Then the influence law of the pole number of the internal reluctance motor on the torque density of the dualstator hybrid rotor synchronous motor was summarized, which lays a theoretical foundation for the design and analysis of the motor with the special structure.
